APARTMENT IN BUCHAREST - MODERN INTERIOR DESIGN

share

Our new ongoing project is a modern apartment in Bucharest. The designers from Studio Insign created a modern space based on a perfect mix of natural elements.

The living room is created in a modern minimalist style, using a neutral palette for the furniture and splashes of colour for walls and decorations.

Rectangular forms are predominant in this room, as we can see in both the furniture and the two frame displays.

In addition to the simple lines of the living room  we added two coffee tables, identical in shape but different in size.

For the living room we chose to accentuate the vertical lines using white apparent brick, a different texture from the rest of the room, but also by playing with green hues.

The real splash of colour in this living room is the orange armchair, which comes in contrast with the rest of the room, giving it a warmer and more balanced look.

The kitchen was designed by Studio Insign designers in a minimalist style, with a mix of natural elements and wood being prevalent. We chose neutral cabinets with plenty of storage space, making this kitchen perfect for an apartment in the city.

The room has a contemporary feel, very fresh and relaxing, due to the presence of natural light and green indoor plants.

One of the two bedrooms follows the same modern style as the rest of the apartment, completing the look with a splash of blue. The wall facing the bed was decorated using the same apparent brick details and frame displays.

The cool undertones are completed by the warm light, making this room perfect for relaxing and disconnecting from everyday struggles.

For the second bedroom we chose green hues, similar to the ones used in the rest of the design. Indoor plants come as a refreshing addition to the natural light, which can be controlled using the blinds.

Apartament hotel – implementare a conceptului de coliving

share

The creation of an interior design project starts from two almost as important aspects, whether we are talking about a HoReCa interior design project or a residential project: the characteristics of the space and the typology of the users.

Until recently, hotel rooms were associated with the idea of a dormitory, but hotel owners are constantly reinventing themselves with an increasing desire to offer more than just a simple accommodation, but a pleasant and complete experience that covers a multitude of more and more diversified needs, such as relaxation, sleep, work, food preparation etc.

In this context, appears the concept of coliving, which is not very new, but its contemporary form has gained a great importance in recent years due to combinations of complex factors.

Today we want to talk about how was implemented the concept of coliving in an interior design project. The inSIGN team started with a moodboard to show a clear “picture” of such as space, then they created a complet interior design project for a hotel apartment.

The interior architects included several areas: sleeping, relaxing, working, storing, dining and cooking (a kitchenette). The design scheme has taken into account the types of customers who need such spaces: business travelers who travel a lot and who stay in hotels for more than 1-2 days.

Such people share the same values and philosophy. This typology becomes widespread, a fact which determine the owners to rethink the space of accommodation. The design project created by inSIGN has been based on a series of common ideals: internationality, community, cohabitation, all of these are found in the concept of coliving.

The concept design was approached not as a point of arrival but as a continuation of the journey into an international, refreshing experience.

The interior space is divided into several areas with distinct features: a relaxing and sleeping room with a bed and storage space, a small work area, a living area with dining (bar area) and a kitchenette equipped with the necessary appliances.

All of these areas are decorated in modern style, the areas being separated by colors and specific furniture. The arrangement has a uniform look obtained through balanced chromatics and retro decorative elements.

In the bathroom we find the same style of decoration, the small space being highlighted using unique finishes and visual effects elements such as lighting fixtures.

Interior architects inSIGN create interior design projects for houses, interior design projects for apartments, interior design projects for hotels, interior design projects for offices, where they approach any design style, from classic or eclectic to design concepts interior in modern or minimalist style.

HOUSE IN BALOTESTI - CLASSIC INTERIOR DESIGN

share

Every house interior design project created by the Studio Insign architects and by the designers from Noblesse Interiors is a mix between the creativity of our designers and the desires of our customers. We always keep in mind his requests during the development of the interior design project because our goal is to fulfill his dreams of having the much desired home.

We created this house interior design project in a classic style, where natural shades, such as cream, green and brown, are complemented by blue and turquoise accents.

Thanks to the design of the living room, the space benefits from a lot of brightness, transforming it into the perfect area to spend your free time with the family. To give it elegance and style, we chose small black accents found in the coffee tables, in the chest and at the feet of the furniture.

Both the living room and dining room are in a generous open space, separated from the stairs by the two columns, which bring us to mind the ancient Greek style. The dining room tends toward a more sober area where black is predominant, and the cream color now becomes a color accent.

While in the living room we opted for open shades in order to brighten up the room, in the office we chose walnut wood and upholstered furniture to create a more sober, British-style interior design. The office becomes even more elegant due to the green shade used on the desk top and curtains, enlivening the room.

The salon was designed for spending time with friends. The special elements in this room are the very elegant bar made of walnut, the poker table, a couple of machine games and a jukebox, the symbol that reminds us of the glory of rock’n’roll music.

In the girl’s bedroom, the lime color accents convey refinement to the room, while the luxury elements, such as the bedside tables, the table lamps and the silver-colored dressing table along with the bronze-colored mirror, rejuvenate the room, creating a glamorous atmosphere.

The kitchen is set in a large open space. The Carrara marble countertop with the natural color cooking island represent some of the elements that transform this room into an elegant, refined space where cooking becomes a pleasure.

In the bathroom we used the same pattern of blending cream with black, to be in tune with the whole interior design of the house.

If you have a house with more than one flolor and a generous space, decorate your lobby with style. The combination of the wrought iron railings and the mahogany wood of the parquet will attract the attention of all guests.

THE LAKE HOUSE, BUCHAREST - CONTEMPORARY STYLE WITH LUXURY HIGHLIGHTS

share

“The Lake House” is one of the latest interior design projects made by Studio Insign, made in a contemporary style with luxury highlights for a house on the shore of Lake Tei in Bucharest. For this project we chose precious pieces of furniture and decorations in all rooms using materials such as leather, textiles, natural stone and wood paneling.

The house is even more spectacular because it is made up of two living-rooms, one in an open-space along with the dining room and the other in a snug, enjoying a beautiful view of the lake.

In the open-space made up of the living room and dining room, we used complementary colors, such as blue and shades of cream and yellow, creating a bright atmosphere. In the living room we opted for a geometric furniture whereas in the dining room we chose monochrome models to not visually load the space.

The living room walls are an interesting combination of marble and wood paneling elements, made in shades of brown, in tune with the furniture. The cabinets feature bronze elements with Greek motifs, which confer the rooms that luxury air and perfectly blend with the geometric furniture.

The dining room walls are made of a jungle-style photo wallpaper, giving the room personality. For both living room and dining room we chose a combination of dark emperador and emperador light marble carpet, perfectly matched to the walls and furnishings. In both areas we used gold, silver and white decorations, being in a perfect harmony with the whole arrangement.

The open-space living room is separated by a marble wall (including a built-in fireplace) from the other living room, where we chose a simple, creamy and brown chromatic palette, found in the pieces of furniture, in the decorations and in the marble carpet.

In the bedroom we used the same shades used in the design of the snug living room in order to create chromatic unity.

In the dressing room we used precious elements such as gold, found in the design of the chair and the table.

The kitchen was designed in creamy shades, perfectly harmonized with the design of the whole house.

The house has several bathrooms, designed in shades of cream, brown and orange, as well as in shades of blue, being in tune with the whole arrangement.

In the hallway and on the staircase we chose a marble carpet in white and cream tones, the ladder being made of sawed board.

AMIRAL HOUSE MODERN STYLE, BUCHAREST - MODERN INTERIOR DESIGN

Share

Amiral House Modern Style Bucharest is a recently completed project with the designers Studio Insign, Ana-Maria Calina and Bogdan Gheorghiu. We have transformed a house from the 1940s in Bucharest into a very pleasant home, in which we created smart, intelligent spaces, resulting in a functional and practical home. The exterior of the house has Brancovenesti influences whereas in the interior we approached a practical, contemporary style, endowed with the newest systems. On the structure of the old stove we built a bioethanol fireplace and for the fireplace and ceiling cladding we used vintage-style ceramics, which, along with led strip lighting, look spectacular.

Due to the customer’s desire to use neutral colors and well-defined areas using furniture, we created airy spaces. We designed each space differently according to the needs of each family member. Thus, the child’s room features marine elements such as the wallpaper, the lighting fixtures and the decorations, while the pieces of furniture give the room an original look.

The kitchen was ergonomically designed and produced at one of the most important brands in Italy, representing a modern and fresh space.

To give warmth and privacy to the rooms, we used wood in both the floors and furniture in the living room area, in the dining rooms, in the bathrooms, in the hallways and in the staircase.

In the design lighting fixtures, mosaic and decorations we chose to discreetly insert precious finishes such as brass and gold.

Because the owners wanted an intimate and comfortable space for the master bedroom, we used shades of cream and brown.

The most interesting space of this project was the semi-basement, which involved important consolidation and waterproofing works and where we now find a vintage-industrial home cinema, the favorite place for the family.

SATU MARE HOUSE - MODERN INTERIOR DESIGN WITH LUXURY HIGHLIGHTS

SHARE

“The Modern House with Luxury highlights” is the project with which we were on the shortlist at The International Design & Architecture Awards 2016, at The International Design Awards 2016.

The team of designers and architects created the interior design for a house in Satu Mare, implementing a turnkey interior design concept with products from Noblesse Interiors portfolio. Also, the exterior areas have been completely redesigned and arranged to meet the demands of the customer, who wanted the green area to be harnessed to its maximum potential. See Architecture Project HERE).

The interior design concept was implemented in the living room, in the bedrooms, in the guest room, in the bathrooms and in the kitchen. All the rooms on the ground floor were made entirely of marble.

The owner wanted the vast spaces of the house not to be loaded with furniture, on the contrary, to remain as free as possible, to emulate luxury and at the same time to be modern.

We considered the design style with luxury highlights being the most suitable for this interior design project so we created the 3D living room design (which we designed with two white fashionable sofas with leather finishes), the master bedroom, the guests bedroom, the bathrooms and the kitchen (part of Domina Collection).

As you may very well know, the work of an interior designer is not limited to picking the furniture, it also involves arranging the space in all its complexity. Thus, we designed the marble pattern, we plated the walls with MDF using stainless steel joints and we created the interior staircase.

The spiral staircase, designed and custom made of steel and glass represents an important detail of this large project. It is made of stainless steel with dacryl panels and looks like it’s made of faceted glass.

On the high wall that makes the link between the ground floor and the upper floor was laid a 10 m high resin panel that represents a luxuriant landscape. We chose a combination of white and bluemarin, along with the cool elegance of the stainless steel.

The same luxury style with glamor highlights was also used in the design of the sleeping areas, which are highlighted by the extremely refined furniture, but also by the interesting treatment of the walls. Every element of this arrangement emanates elegance.

From a chromatic point of view, neutral colors were complemented by bright tones to further accentuate the contemporary style. The space has been carefully divided to ensure a high functionality, but also to provide a welcoming and warm atmosphere. Contemporary luxury furniture has been used throughout the interior design.

HOUSE IN BRANESTI - ECLECTIC INTERIOR DESIGN

share

When we receive an interior design project, it is very important to keep in mind the surface it has in order to create a functional design that reflects the owner’s personality at the same time. So, for this house in Branesti we chose an eclectic interior design, where beige shades and other elements such as mirrors or scoop lights predominate, precisely to create spatial illusion.

In the living room we used cream tones and blue accents of color. To create a feeling of spatiality and stretching we used scoop lights on the ceiling and on the walls.

The white-furnished office is located in the open space living room, these two spaces being bounded by a existing parapet.

In the downstairs lobby, the hangers feature dual functionality, as they can also be used as a mirror. These mirrors have the role of creating the feeling of space and brightness.

In the ground floor bathroom we chose decorative ceramics in tones of cream. We also wanted this space to convey the feeling of height and space, so we used spotlights on the ceiling. To create an elegant setting, we hid the washing machine, the ironing board and the laundry basket behind the furniture doors and integrated the sink into the countertop. The shower has a built-in steamer.

The master bedroom is designed in an eclectic style, in tones of cream. We chose a high-quality furniture, made of solid wood and provided by Noblesse Interiors. We opted for a white leather  stool to accompany the makeup toilet.

In the guest bedroom we used the same chromatics as the rest of the house. To create a feeling of spatiality, we placed two mirrors that guard the bed and in order to give the space a touch of preciosity, we used wallpaper on the walls. The room is complemented by a multifunctional table, that has the role of a make-up toilet, a minibookcase or a TV composition. As customers are passionate about traveling, we’ve placed on the walls photos from their travels.

The upstairs lobby, due to its generous space, integrates another office, and in order to recreate the feeling of spatiality, we used light colors. We used sound-absorbing panels on the walls.

The staircase presents decorative luminaires made by internationally renowned designers and a classical wallpaper model.

In the upstairs bathroom we chose a classic style, as it is seen in the suspended furniture with double washbasin. We used mobile lighting fixtures to increase their functionality and at the customer’s request we used a tub that features interior light.

The house also has a small terrace, consisting of a table of 8 people, chairs, a three-seater sofa and a fridge. To give room warmth, we placed some paintings on the walls.

HOUSE in COTROCENI, BUCHAREST - CLASSIC INTERIOR DESIGN

share

Classic style is perfect for large homes where furniture and accessories fit perfectly and harmoniously fill the spaces. This style involves pieces of furniture from carved wood, hand-embroidered tapestries and oversized mirrors giving a noble air to the interior. This was the idea we had on our mind when we started designing this house. We chose refined pieces, typical of the classical style, in perfect harmony with marble planks or inlaid parquet with rare essences. The house has a spacious dining room, a living room, a kitchen, a master bedroom with en suite bathroom, a children’s bedroom with its own bathroom and a desk for the two girls. Also, we created a manly British-style office, where the owner takes refuge when he has to work from home. This room was designed differently from the rest of the rooms because we chose wood panels to decorate it and pieces of furniture made of wood and leather. The rest of the rooms, however, emanate a classic romantic air, including the children’s bedroom decorated in warm, pastel colors. All pieces of furniture and accessories were provided by our main collaborators, Noblesse Interiors, and are part of the luxury range. Every item was chosen with great care so the result would pleasantly surprise the beneficiaries.

HOUSE IN BERLIN - ARCHITECTURE PROJECT - EXTERIOR DESIGN

share

We like professional challenges so for this architectural project we worked with great pleasure. It is a historic memorial house, from the interwar period, in Berlin, for which we have carried out the architectural, restoration and consolidation project. It is a building that combines elements typical of German architecture with neoclassical architecture. The home that is located in a residential district of Berlin, with a strong historical background, has been vandalized and destroyed over the years. At the beginning of the works, the facade of the house was flat, lacking decorative elements.
