Mansion restaurant – eclectic design project

Mansion restaurant – eclectic design project

In this article we will reveal the story of a restaurant design project, as part of a larger project – a traditional style mansion.

The design of this project was inspired by the old noblemen houses. In other words, the finishing materials, the furniture and all the accessories were chosen so as to faithfully reproduce those elements that we can still admire in restored mansions, historical monument houses or traditional houses.

The concept of design was created by our interior architects focusing on materials such as tile, brick, decorative paint or wood. For example, for the floor, our specialists used rectangular cut tiles, arranged in herringbone style (at 45 degrees).

The designers have proposed the apparent brick and antique plaster for the treatment of walls, typical of the boyar mansions. The passing from one material to another is gradual, so that the final finish looks like a natural peeling paint.

At the same time, this gradual transition gave to the designers the opportunity to highlight brick and arches. The plaster blends perfectly with the carpentry of dark wood.

The walls show special details, such as the cincture in the area between the ceiling and the wall with windows or the painted details (frescoes) of religious inspiration. These decorative details were made at the request of the client who offered images to the designers as model.

Our interior architects brought to light certain elements that had previously been a drawback, for example, the two poles that they transformed into attractions by “dressing” them with natural stone or plaster. They also added some wooden beams to create an authentic atmosphere.

A successful combination is the semi-austere carpentry, the glazed windows with painted stained glass and the embroidered semi-transparent curtains.

The lighting solutions proposed by our architects emphasize the boyish aspect of the room. These are inspired by the old wooden chandeliers. The architects has chosen two types of wall sconces.

In the concept of interior design was included wooden furniture of essence enclosed in the style of the manor houses, complete with textiles. The traditional Romanian motifs can be found on the carpets in the traffic and fireplace area.

The introduction of the fireplace and the two armchairs was done in order to create a warm and welcoming appearance. In the dining room area, the designers created a more intimate ambience with the help of a slightly different furniture.

The interior architects Studio inSIGN treated the whole space like a museum, here being found: typical tableware shelves, handmade elements such as a sewing machine and traditional clothing items placed in showcases and enriched with a red velvet finish and LED light perimeter that highlight them.

This restaurant project represents a mix of styles, from traditional Austrian to traditional Romanian, with rustic style textiles, elements with religious motifs that together make up a decor with a special atmosphere as in the interiors of the boyar mansions of yesteryear.

Self-service 2 – modern interior design project

Self-service 2 – modern interior design project

When designing interior spaces, our teams from inSIGN and Noblesse Interiors aim to obtain decors that offer to users a complete experience, regardless of the type of space.

In the following lines, we present a project of interior design in modern style created for a self-service that is inside a new factory.

This is the second project designed in modern style in which our specialists use an urban theme, this time a cityscape rendered by elements of interior architecture that take various forms, such as the exteriors of houses, or the finishing that shows as the map of a subway.

Like the self-service presented here, it also belongs to a company with employees from different countries and belonging to different cultures. Thus, the interior design project includes concepts such as sustainability, innovation and multiculturalism.

In this project the emphasis is on eco-friendly design, encouraged by the help of natural and stabilized plants that induce the feeling of connection with nature. The idea of natural is reinforced by the use of a color that is very common in nature: green.

Such an environment is meant to help employees get rid of daily stress and to load up with energy during the times when they eat.

One of the elements harmoniously integrated into decor is a minivan equipped with refrigerator and microwave ovens, where employees can heat their food.

The pieces of furniture used in this self-service interior design project are part of Noblesse Interiors portfolio, the main partners of inSIGN studio.

Self-service 1 – modern style project

Self-service 1 – modern style project

The design, functionality and atmosphere of the spaces we spend our time in are increasingly important, and their role of disconnecting and inducing some comforting sensations is increasing, whether we are talking about workspaces, relaxation, dining and socializing.

The teams from inSIGN and Noblesse Interiors created a 3D project in modern style for a self-service, which will be designed inside a new factory.

The self-service belongs to a multinational company where employees come from different countries and cultures. Therefore, the clients wanted the interior design project to integrate a series of concepts such as sustainability, innovation, multiculturality and connection with nature.

Our specialists have proposed an urban, colorful, eco-friendly design, which reproduces the atmosphere of a “farmer’s market” and they have managed through various decorative elements to create an atmosphere that will be familiar and comfortable for employees.

Thus, self-service takes the “appearance” of a market with the help of finishes, colors, decorative themes, natural plants and stabilized ones.

The designers have created within this self-service a route that reproduces the idea of a street to complete the concept of market and urban landscape.

The focus of this self-serve design is a minivan, equipped with a refrigerator and two microwave ovens, where employees can keep their food and heat respectively.

The decorative elements used in this self-serve interior design project are part of the portfolio of our main partners, namely Noblesse Interiors.

Business Lounge Hotel – casual luxury interior design

Business Lounge Hotel – design interior in stil casual luxury

An interior design project recently finalized by the inSIGN and Noblesse Interiors teams is the business lounge of a 5-star hotel: a multifunctional space that includes a breakfast, lunch and business meeting area for the hotel’s VIP clients.

Our specialists have opted for a style in accordance with the purpose of space, namely the casual luxury style, both stylish and sophisticated, which we find very inspired considering that the space is addressed to a select audience who are very attentive to details.

The interior design proposes some of the most noble materials, such as marble, wood and leather, in surprising combinations. By example, the white marble ceramic flooring finds a Marble Emperador Dark Marble correspondent in order create that desired luxury ambience.

Other associations that give elegance and personality to the interior are wood in dark shades associated with cognac leather and blue and cream textiles. This mix of materials and textures, along with brass inserts, have been the basis of the concept.

The cool aspect of the marble is tempered by the green plants that partially cover the walls. The stabilized plants represent a decorative solution in accordance with the latest eco trends in the interior design, especially as it does not require maintenance.

This interior design focuses to top-quality decorative elements such as elegant sofas in the welcome area, and light fixtures with special details, all of these pieces belonging to internationally recognized brands.

Artworks used in decor, such as paintings, are original pieces created by artists from the Fusion Arts portfolio, which is Noblesse Group International art agency.

One of the challenges of this project was to create that sensation of height that interior architects inSIGN achieved through various architectural solutions such as soffits, spotlights and decorative tricks to visually enlarge the distance from ceiling to floor.

THE PUBLISHER RESTAURANT – INDUSTRIAL DESIGN STYLE

THE PUBLISHER RESTAURANT - INDUSTRIAL DESIGN STYLE

share

We created a superb 3D project for The Publisher Restaurant, a space on the site of a former factory. Due to its location, we opted for an industrial design style.

In order to best represent this style, we used lighting systems, pulleys, concrete and brick, specific elements of factories and industrial halls.

The solid wood furniture gives the room weight, the coral red seats representing that splash of color that every interior design should have.

Arcades from the entire space are highlighted by geometric lighting.

Because we wanted to create a cozy, intimate and relaxing space, we placed inside the area surrounded by one of the sidewalls and two arches a fireplace on wood, which has a special storage space for wood.

The central element of this restaurant is represented by the bar on which the name of the restaurant is written, a seemingly trivial thing. In fact, the letters are made of an ink that composes and decomposes by a mechanism made of a electromagnet mold that attracts the fluid (a suspension of ferrofluid and oil) and transforms it from an amorphous mass into well-defined forms. The whole concept is based on the desire to transpose us into the future of the printing industry.

The natural ivy on the grill that represents the ceiling of the restaurant creates the link between the interior and the outdoor garden and gives the space extra vitality.

The products used in this house interior design are entirely part of the portfolio of our main collaborators, Noblesse Interiors, interior design and turnkey projects experts.

MANSION IN RUSTIC STYLE WITH ORIENTAL INFLUENCES

MANSION IN RUSTIC STYLE WITH ORIENTAL INFLUENCES

For the interior architects inSIGN and the designers Noblesse Interiors, each interior design project has its challenges, but the goal is always the same: to fulfill the customer’s dream by combining their wishes with the creative ideas of designers. Today we present you a mansion design in rustic style with oriental influences, created by our team with products from the Noblesse Interiors portfolio.

Oriental elements such as handmade natural wool rugs, the nomad pattern of sofas, taffeta stools and decorative cushions create a cultural connection that symbolizes the history of the romanian tradition that has borrowed Ottoman influences across time. These influences were found in most of the noblemen houses, especially in the rooms designed for relaxation.

Along one of the walls were placed the sofas of which design was created by the designers to integrate the radiators. The hand-carved wood furniture contributes to the rustic atmosphere of the space, its dark essence creating a strong connection with the wooden beams from the vaults. The designers have integrated into design a chest, an unique antique piece with renaissance influences from the end of 1800.

On the opposite side, was integrated a hand-crafted library, which includes the access to the wine cellar through a wooden door integrated into the library body. The designers and architects have integrated here and there parts of the original paintings, so they have brought back to life these artworks – an open invitation for visitors to discover the history of the place.

Regarding colors, the designers used shades of red-ocher or blue, and kept the walls in white, using for them a small number of decorations. The lightings fit perfectly into the proposed concept, but the focus was created on furniture, on its fabrics and sculpted shapes.

The wine cellar contains three main areas: a relaxation area, where the guests can join for watching movies or games, a dining area, and a bar area, where can be organized wine tasting. The design team kept the rustic atmosphere of the wine cellar design concept from which the arrangement was started. Thus, here you can find antique wooden carved furniture, brass lamps and oriental carpets in traditional nomad style.

To provide identity to the space, the architects and designers from inSIGN and Noblesse Interiors have used decorative elements specific to wine cellars, such as barrels in the dining room area and metal accents. The TV area includes a sofa accompanied by four demi-chairs and a bar-cabinet, whose countertop can be turned into a dining area. The inner part of the bar furniture is composed by countertop with sink and four lower bodies. On the access wall to the salon area are mounted the wine cabinets.

Our specialists has carefully chosen finishes and textiles to fit perfectly and at the same time to offer a welcoming atmosphere. The dining area is highlighted by the natural wool carpet with traditional details and rustic look that makes us to think of the knightly legends. In the bar area, solid wood furniture with antique look is accompanied by ironware and metal details and antique brass lighting.

The team has concepted a general lighting system, integrating in the vaults a copper pipe installation with spotlights. The designers also integrated lighting bodies which highlights the bricks and help to warm the atmosphere.

The products used in this interior mansion design are entirely part of the Noblesse Interiors portfolio. More 3D photo-realistic images are shown in the gallery below.
